Location

Malaga Airport - Barros de Luna, Coin.
Distance 40 kilometres.
Journey time 30 - 35 minutes.
 
Leave the airport following signs for N340/Malaga. After the roundabout take the left-hand lane signposted Malaga This takes you over a small overpass and loops you round on to the main E-15/MA-29 towards Malaga.
 
Get into the right-hand lane and after approx 2 km take the right-hand filter off, signposted Motril/Antequera. This will take you out onto the main N340/A7 Ronda de Malaga (Malaga ring-road).  Keep going straight ahead in the lanes sign-posted for Motril. Initially you will also see signs for Granada/Cordoba/Sevilla.
 
After about 2 km take exit (salida) No. 236A signposted "Centro", But once on the slip road/ramp, DO NOT follow Cento and instead  KEEP LEFT to  Cartama / Universidad / P. Tecnológico P.T.A.
 
After about 500 metres follow the sign on to the A-357 and Centro de Transportes C.T.M. / Cártama / Universidad / Clínico / Parque Tecnológico.
 
Stay on this "Autovia de Guadlahorce" for 17.5 km (about 15 minutes) when you should take the exit (salida) No. 52 signposted Cártama / Coín. This exit ramp will take you to a large roundabout where you take the first exit on to the A-355 signposted Marbella.
 
After about 6 km (about 5 minutes) you will come to another roundabout where you take the second exit on to the A-355/A-7102. Shortly you will pass a restaurant on your left called Cruz de Peidra and soon after this turn left towards Coin Centro.
 
Continue to the next roundabout and take the exit on to the A-366 towards Ronda.
 
For about 1 km there are several bends in this road. Slow down and on a left hand bend in the road, be prepared to turn right down a small driveway just before a large tree. You will find Barros de Luna down here about 100 metres on your left hand side.
